Emerald Coast Auburn Club recognized at CLC

Every year, the Auburn Alumni Association holds an annual Club Leadership Conference for its club officers. The purpose of the conference is not only to learn about what we can do to make our club bigger and better, but to also mingle and share ideas with clubs from all over the country!

As part of the conference there was an awards dinner. The ECAC took home more Aubie Awards than we could hold! We won the Ace Level "True and Blue Tiger" award, which is awarded to clubs who go above and beyond what they are asked. We also walked away with these beauties: The "Auburn Alumni in Action" award, we received this award for having our golf tournament during the Alumni in Action week last year. The "One-Third Scholarship" Award, which is given to all clubs who donated a 1/3 scholarship, and since we actually funded two scholarships, we also received the "Above and Beyond" Award! We were the only club to receive this award! The "Top Donor" Award, is given to all clubs who donated $15,000 or more to their endowed scholarship fund. And last but not least, we also received the "Most Outstanding Club Event" award which recognizes the club with the most creative, non-traditional event and/or fundraiser in the last year. We won this for AU Singers Event from last spring.
